Dr. Meng Qi was born in 1932,

| In this time,he took
part in the |

| campaign of
Liaoning-Shengyang and BeiJing-TianJin.At battlefield,he
rescued the wounded at the risk of his life and rendered
meritorious service. |

| In 1954 he entered
China Pharmaceutical |

| Universitys to pursue
advanced studies. In 1964,he was sent to Tanzania by
china government, as leader of medical team
and as adviser of Nenery ,the president of
Tanzania. He established the first biopharmaceutical
factory and trained a couple of biopharmaceutical
talents for Tanzania. |

| When Professor Meng
returned,he established |

Pharmaceutical Business College of China
Pharmaceutical University and was appointed to the head
of it. From then, he successively went to Japan Gifu
Pharmaceutical University, etc to conduct science exchanges.The
students he taught spread throughout the world
during long term of education and research work. |
